Ok, this one was pretty impressive, found it on Refund Cents and thought I would share...
I got a great email from Jennifer K in OH. She spent some time putting together a fantastic game plan for getting the most from your RR's at Walgreens. Start with $30 cash, and end up with about $40 in RR's and a bunch of free products. Also print out the block format to see where each coupon comes from. She says: "Of course, YMMV depending on which products are in stock and which coupons you have. I have figured out the items/coupons ratio and added when you have to put in fillers, and also make sure to add items to absorb the extra $0.25 for the Ecotrin coupon, so you can plan ahead."
Start with buying this:
2 Neosporins for $8
use 2 $1 printed coupons;
1 bandaid for $3, use $1 coupon;
1 Ecotrin for $2, use $2.25 coupon;
2 Got2B haircare for $10, use 2 $2 printable coupons;
1 Nivea for $5, use $1 coupon...
Your oop should be about $18, your RR will be $22.
Next, do this:
1 Rembrant, $6;
1 Ecotrin for $2, use $2.25 coupon;
2 Got2B haircare for $10, use 2 $2 printable coupons;
1 Bayer about $2.50, use $1 coupon
get 2 filler items, so you can use 3 RR, so you'll then have ...
Total, about $13.50 plus your fillers (let's say 2 for $1 tissues). Now use the $5 RR from Nivea, the $4 RR from Neo/Bandaid, and the $2 RR from Ecotrin (even though this won't produce another RR for Eco, it's a wash because the coupon is worth more than the product to begin with).
Your RR will take off about $11 and your OOP will be about $4. You will get $15.50 in RR.
Next, do this:
1 Nivea body wash for $5, use $1 printable coupon;
1 Ecotrin for $2, use $2.25 coupon;
1 Bayer about $2.50, use $1 coupon.
1 filler item (50 cents?)
Your total will be about $7. Use $6 RR from Rembrant. Your oop will be about $1.
Lastly, do this:
1 Ecotrin for $2, use $2.25 coupon;
2 Got2B haircare for $10, use 2 $2 printable coupons;
1 Bayer about $2.50, use $1 coupon,
2 fillers ($1?)
Your total will be about $9.50.
Use $5 RR from the Nivea and a $2 from the Ecotrin.
Your oop will be about $2.50 plus tax.
Your remaining RR after 4 transactions will be:
3 $5 RR from Got2B= $18
2 $6 RR from Rembrant=$12
3 $2.50 RR from Bayer=$7.50
1 $2 RR from Ecotrin= $2
which isr a total of $39.50 in RR for your to spend and you will have the following items:
4 Neosporins,
1 Bandaid,
4 Ecotrin,
6 Got2B,
2 Nivea,
3 Bayer,
1 Rembrant product.
Your OOP will be about $30, you will have all the above products and your will still have almost $40 in RR!
Yay!

that is a crazy good deal, if you try it out tell me how it goes :)
ReplyDeleteI bought 3 Nivea body washes yesterday (using old RR) and then used the new RR to buy 3 Rembrandt. I think I'll go back and buy some more body washes with my RR. The body washes are really big! It's a good deal.
ReplyDeletePretty cool! Lots of work though...hardly ever do the RR thing. Thanks for posting, if I didn't have to drag Elijah I would probably go for it. I have not been to Kroger yet, Isaiah barfed in the parking lot before I even got in the store, so we packed up and went home empty handed :(
